Take the Bank Slot Overview
Do you have what it takes to pull off the ultimate bank heist? Find out in Betsoft’s Take the Bank slot game which measures five reels by three rows and has a whole stack of explosive features including exploding wilds and free spins. We’ll tell you how much you can win and how to play to give you the best chances. But remember, if you get caught by the cops, we were never here!
Take the Bank Slot RTP, Volatility and Top Win
Take the Bank has an average RTP of 96.10%. This is calculated by developers by monitoring how much the game should pay out over time from the entire user base playing the game. The percentage shows us the expected return for every $100 that is played, which in this case sets the expected returns to be at $96.10. Remember that this isn’t a guarantee for individual players. Playing slots is still a risk and you could lose money.
Volatility determines how often a game pays out and how big the average payout is. For Take the Bank, it sits somewhere in the medium class for volatility, offering more regular payouts than high volatility slot games but, in general, with smaller payouts. It pays out slightly less than low volatility games but with a better mix of bigger and smaller wins.
While the theme of the Take the Bank slot may be about breaking into the vault to steal stacks of cash, the maximum win on this game barely breaks the bank at just 450x your bet value. This is achieved by landing a full set of reels with the highest paying symbol. Win values for symbols can be found in the table below:

How to play?
The Take the Bank slot game is an easy game to pick up with the requirements for winning to match two or more of the highest paying symbols and three or more of the remaining paying symbols from left to right across any of the 75 pay lines. There are also wilds that substitute for all other paying symbols and scatter symbols that can activate a free spins bonus game.
The Bonus Features
There are two main features to Take the Bank. The first is the game’s wild feature. To the right of the reels, you’ll see a bomb that counts down from ten. Every time a prisoner shows up on the reels, their section will be marked by a smaller bomb with the same number. This sticks in place until the countdown is complete. After the countdown on the bomb finishes, all the bombs will explode and replace the symbols they cover with wild symbols. The countdown then begins again for the next ten spins.
Bombs also appear in the free spins game which is accessed by landing a police car scatter symbol on reels two, three and four on the same spin. When this happens, you will receive 15 free spins with either five, seven or ten bombs landing on the reels to reveal wilds. These wilds can shift position on the reels with each spin but will remain on the reels for the duration of the free spins game. You cannot re-trigger free spins during the free spins round.
Graphics & Soundtrack
Take the Bank looks incredibly charming with its cartoon style, aiming to offer a little comedy with the way that the prisoners are designed and how the police car scatter symbol appears with its sirens flashing. The music for the game is suitable enough and reminiscent of a musical score you expect to find in a bank heist movie, except toned down a little more. It’s easy listening and unlike some slot games, doesn’t get on your nerves over time.
Having played Take the Bank for some time, we found it to be an enjoyable and entertaining slot. While prisoners are not guaranteed to land on the reels for wilds to be added, it was nice knowing that wilds will appear on every tenth spin. The free spins feature is great too, with guaranteed wilds increasing the chances of a win on each spin. The only thing that lets the game down is the low maximum win value which isn’t befitting of the breaking-into-a-bank theme.
