The Take the Bank slot game is an easy game to pick up with the requirements for winning to match two or more of the highest paying symbols and three or more of the remaining paying symbols from left to right across any of the 75 pay lines. The Bonus Features
Bomb Feature
There are two main features to Take the Bank. The first is the game’s wild feature. To the right of the reels, you’ll see a bomb that counts down from ten. Every time a prisoner shows up on the reels, their section will be marked by a smaller bomb with the same number. This sticks in place until the countdown is complete. After the countdown on the bomb finishes, all the bombs will explode and replace the symbols they cover with wild symbols. The countdown then begins again for the next ten spins.
Free Spins
Bombs also appear in the free spins game which is accessed by landing a police car scatter symbol on reels two, three and four on the same spin. When this happens, you will receive 15 free spins with either five, seven or ten bombs landing on the reels to reveal wilds. Graphics & Soundtrack
Take the Bank looks incredibly charming with its cartoon style, aiming to offer a little comedy with the way that the prisoners are designed and how the police car scatter symbol appears with its sirens flashing. The music for the game is suitable enough and reminiscent of a musical score you expect to find in a bank heist movie, except toned down a little more. It’s easy listening and unlike some slot games, doesn’t get on your nerves over time.
In Summary
Having played Take the Bank for some time, we found it to be an enjoyable and entertaining slot. While prisoners are not guaranteed to land on the reels for wilds to be added, it was nice knowing that wilds will appear on every tenth spin. The free spins feature is great too, with guaranteed wilds increasing the chances of a win on each spin. The only thing that lets the game down is the low maximum win value which isn’t befitting of the breaking-into-a-bank theme.
